1Pre-Treatment Care
Stop retinol/retinoids 5-7 days before
No waxing for 7 days prior
Avoid exfoliation 3-4 days before
No sun exposure for 2 weeks
Inform provider of medications
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
2Immediate After Care
Keep skin moisturized with gentle products
Use gentle cleanser, no scrubbing
Apply prescribed healing ointment
Don't pick or peel flaking skin
Use SPF 30+ daily
Avoid heat/sweating for 48 hours
No active ingredients for 7 days
No makeup for 24-48 hours
3What to Expect
Redness for 2-3 days
Peeling starts 2-3 days after
Complete peeling: 5-7 days
New skin will be sensitive
